Course Description
This 2-day course is different than the typical loop tuning class. This course is more focused on optimum plant tuning. Tuning a loop is not difficult; however, tuning a combination of control loops that make up the control strategy of a process unit, which is part of a business, is more challenging. The behavior of the different control loops has significant impact on plant stability and economic performance. This course teaches the necessary techniques to optimally tune loops in such a way that plant performance in start up and normal operation is also optimized.
